ICYMI, during our spring membership campaign (in an act of feral desperation), we promised CIty Cast DC listeners and Hey DC readers some embarrassing photos if you got us to our membership goal. Well, you helped us blow right past it, and we’re not ones to go back on our word.

So, as promised, each member of our team has submitted a cringe photo or story from their youth as an odd but heartfelt attempt to show you how much your support means to us. Remember, the internet is forever, as is our gratitude 😉

Michael here at a ripe five years of age visiting Ireland in an unbelievable sweater-pant combo that we can only dream of pulling off.

City Cast DC Host: Bridget Todd

Bridget is too stunning to have embarrassing photos (my words, not hers), so she shared this embarrassing story instead.

Many Halloweens ago, a few friends and I got “invited to leave” a Black Cat Halloween party.

The main culprit? My friend, dressed as Raoul Duke—the chaotic anti-hero from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas—committed a little too hard to the bit. After a few drinks he decided bar service was moving too slowly, so he hopped behind the bar, grabbed a bottle of whiskey, and started pouring like he owned the place.

Understandably, he was quickly kicked out along with the rest of us by association-style. No hard feelings though, we deserved it.

Senior Executive Producer: Priyanka Tilve

A high school Priyanka with big broadcasting dreams beating up a piñata during her radio program’s end-of-year party. She claims the lowerclassmen gifted her the carebear onesie pajamas for the occasion, but we’re unconvinced.

Our dear producer Julia getting ready to go to a drag ball during her senior year of college as “dick in a box” 🤔 Keep in mind this was in 2015 when no night was complete without a bathroom selfie.

Kaela’s young years spent as an Irish Step Dance prodigy (in her mind, that is) dreaming about performing in Riverdance. During this performance, she was so nervous she fainted before ever stepping foot on stage.
